7th Annual Sangamon Watershed Celebration – June 17 & 18, 2011
The Sangamon Watershed Celebration focuses on the people and history of this region. It is intended as an occasion for urban and rural people to come together and celebrate what Abraham Lincoln called ‘this goodly land' and our shared ‘duty to posterity'. This year’s Celebration on Friday evening focuses on local music and locally grown foods. Tim Grimm will be our musician. On Saturday, Dr. Susan Rupp, co-chair of the America’s Grassland Conference, will discuss the topic, “Going Green: Can Wildlife and Biofuels Be Compatible?”
